We did the Southern segment of this loop tour in 2013.

We did the Northern segment of this loop tour in 2014.

We visited Cashmere in 2013.

The main drag in Cashmere, Washington. Not many people around the evening of
July 3, 2014. The town was pretty empty over the fourth in 2013 too.

Stayed at the Village Inn again. Nice place, friendly hosts, reasonable prices.
I think a lot of people staying here chose this place to avoid the ridiculous
ripoff prices in the Leavenworth, Washington tourist trap.

The Rusty's Burger shack must have amazing burgers because the drive through
line is always a half dozen cars deep. Next time through we'll have to check this
place out.

We really liked the 59 Diner in Cashmere when we came through last year. It was closed
early morning on the 4th (no operating hours sign out front)so we had to delay
breakfast until we got to Pateros, an hour or so North of Cashmere.

The Country Boys BBQ offers up a nice meal of pulled pork or beef brisket.
Generous portions at a reasonable price. This is becoming a favorite eating
establishment for us. However.... shaded seating is limited. Only several
picnic benches out front (but lots more in the hot sun, on the side of the
restaurant.

Both times we've been there it has been wall-to-wall obnoxious people with
their equally obnoxious HUGE dogs. You can spot the idiots a mile away.
Usually driving huge white Denali Greyhound buses... the REALLY obnoxious
ones drive white Escalade buses. If they leash their mutts at all it is with
way too long tethers so hapless patrons are forced to interact with their
four legged shitbags whether they want to or not.

I guess that's the problem with patronizing a really good restaurant that
offers really good food..... these places also tend to attract self-absorbed
hedonistic Obama loving morons who think that the entire planet revolves
around them. IMHO it ought to be legal to shoot these yo-yos on sight...
