A detailed trip report for my 2010 Wind Mountain hike can be found
HERE.

This isn't a very difficult hike and I only do it when I happen to be otherwise
in the area. The trail has seen some maintenance since I was last here but there
is a lot of blowdown and slides out here. It's a well traveled trail so no chance
of getting lost. And not a lot of exposure so even if you do fall, all you will get
are a few scrapes and bruises.

There are a lot of "vision quest" pits up here. Most are very recent and were not
here on my last visit. So much for respecting centuries of Native American history
and spiritual beliefs. No wonder American Indians didn't like the European Explorers
much.

Pictures of out Falls Creek Falls hike earlier today are
