Clanging the bell at St Michaels
This is the view on the North end of the Grand Fiesta resort beachfront.
They gave us a very nice room with a lovely balcony that faced West so
that we could enjoy the sunsets....and the almost naked broads at the pools.
While Julie was letting herself get picked up by cute cabana boys, I
happened to meet this very nice dead broad.
The resort had unlimited free meals so we never ate at Frankie's
Me taking a picture of Liz Taylor's place near the Our Lady of
Guadalupe Cathedral in Puerto Vallarta.
On our taxi ride from the airport we were behind this young couple on
a motorbike. The girl is carrying a box with live chickens. Couldn't
tell if it was chicks they wanted to raise or if it was a hen for lunch.
The hotel guys told us to take a taxi to Puerto Vallarta for $8. We
found this circa 1950's bus that went there for 10 pesos (50 cents).
You had to walk a couple of blocks from the end of the line to the Malecon,
but we wanted to experience the "real" Mexico... no gringos and no English
to speak of on these buses but it was a lot more fun that traveling around
by taxi. Also a LOT less expensive! By the time we left we were pretty
good at getting around on public transportation.
