These images were taken with my Nikon D810 camera and my Zeiss Planar T*
50mm f/1.4 lens.
The weather on the central coast was supposed to be really crappy
today. But today was the last chance at pictures of the heavy surf so....
Eloise was up and out the door early in her heckilopter spraying GET LOST!
and, as usual, it was a nice, sunny, bluebird day when I arrived at Boiler
Bay. Great surf pictures I think.... then on to Depoe Bay and then
Newport.
Even though Depoe Bay is just down the road from Boiler Bay, the light
wasn't nearly as good down here. Most of these images seem to look
better in monochrome.
As soon as I was on the road heading north towards home it started pouring
buckets, but I got all the pictures I wanted. Thanks Eloise! What a goil!
